Because Basic is Boring: Adding Flavor By Using Oils

Why are you settling for basic when you can add a little zing? Our LorAnn Oils help you do just that! We love adding flavor to our favorite recipes with flavor oils. Here’s a few quick flavoring ideas:

four jars of flavor oils

Brownies:

Add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon to any boxed brownie mix.

Cakes:

Add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon to any boxed chocolate or white cake mix.

Chocolates and Fudge:

Add a few drops to chocolate or confectioners coatings (also called candy melts). Add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon to your favorite fudge recipe.

Cream Cheese:

Add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon to 8 oz. of softened cream cheese. 1 teaspoon of sugar can be added as well, if a sweeter taste is desired.

Extract Replacement:

Use in any recipe calling for an ‘extract’, just use less. LorAnn Flavors are generally 4-times stronger than extracts.

Flavored Rice Krispie Treats:

Add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon LorAnn Gourmet Flavoring to marshmallow mixture before adding puffed rice.

Frosting:

Add a few drops to flavor homemade or canned frostings.

Yogurt Dip:

Combine 10 oz. of vanilla custard-style yogurt with 1-3 drops of any LorAnn Gourmet Flavoring. Serve with fresh fruit for a healthy snack!
