Easy as 3-2-1: Succulent Ribs on a Traeger Grill

Grilling ribs need not be intimidating- this recipe is easy and delicious! You can make succulent ribs with this fool-proof method from Traeger Grills.

We have several goals when it comes to grilling education, but one that remains year after year after year is to provide easy to follow recipes that anyone will be able to make at their own home.

If you’re new to grilling, barbecuing, smoking, etc., it can be terrifying to splurge on a nice cut of meat, only to ruin it with a disappointing recipe. I’ve been there! And I’ve been bummmmmed. It is this exact sentiment that prevented me from cooking ribs for years.

But this recipe from Traeger changed that for me! The 3-2-1 method starts with THREE hours of smoking. Then, up the temp and cook for TWO hours in a foil pouch. Finally, rub with sauce and finish for up to ONE hour. It is an investment of time, but it is worth it.
