PB&J and Cake

This week has flown by and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the weekend than cake! And when you get a nice PB&J involved, it can only get better!

We just added this fun silicone cake pan to the list of things we carry for fabulous cakes. Complete with a recipe for the cake and frosting, you definitely can’t go wrong with this!

And since we are speaking of silicone, I had a reader ask earlier this week what the benefits were of using a silicone cake pan. Silicone evenly distributes heat and won’t stick to your baked goods. It’s flexible for easier removal, versatile, and durable. Silicone tends to give your baked goods a paler color because it doesn’t brown them the way that aluminum would. The difference is in the opinion.
